2005 Chapter Award Nominations

To The CAPMI Membership:

It's that time of year again!  As outgoing CAPMI Chapter Member of the Year for 2004, I am heading up the committee to select the Organization of the Year, Sponsor of the Year, and Member of the Year for 2005.  Last year, we presented awards for Organization of the Year, Member of the Year, and a Meritorious Service Award.  

Eligibility Criteria

Member of the Year:  Any Central Arkansas of PMI chapter member is eligible to receive this award, regardless of whether they have volunteered to work on chapter activities.  Many members have participated throughout the year to organize, promote, and conduct various activities for the continuing education of the chapter, which include:

*         Conducting free project management seminars in April

*         Manning a booth at Little Rock Chamber of Commerce Business Symposium promoting the chapter

*         Securing a wide variety of guest speakers for the monthly chapter meetings 

*         Assisted in coordinating local Hurricane Katrina disaster relief efforts

*         Held 2005 Fall Professional Development Day with guest speaker Neal Whitten, PMP

Organization of the Year:  Any Central Arkansas organization who actively supports and promotes the project management discipline within their organization.

 

Sponsor of the Year:  An appreciation award for any Central Arkansas group or organization who has supported chapter activities during this past year.

 

Attached are nomination forms for these awards.  Please send in your nominations no later than Friday, November 25, 2005 to Beatrice Nelson at Beatrice.Nelson at alltel.com <mailto:Beatrice.Nelson at alltel.com> .  Award recipients will be announced at the chapter's annual Holiday party on Thursday, December 8.
