[Members] Call for Nominations/Election Information

Election Time is here! We will have 4 open positions this year and we'd
like to ask that you take a moment and consider volunteering to serve in
one of these roles. To quote the PMI website: "Volunteers are the
lifeblood of PMI. Filling a leadership role or working on a project is a
great way to gain professional exposure while making your PMI experience
richer and more meaningful. As a volunteer you will not only make great
professional contacts, you will also expand your knowledge and develop
your leadership skills." There is a minimal time commitment (usually no
more than 10 or so hours a month). For each year you serve on the Board,
you can earn up to 10 PDU's.

 

Open Positions:

*	The Vice President of Membership 
*	The Vice President of Programs   
*	The Vice President of Publicity 
*	The Vice President of Communications (NEW POSITION) 

You may nominate yourself, or any other member of the chapter. If you
nominate another member, we ask that you discuss the nomination with
them first, due to the time commitment. Please complete the Nomination
Form and return it to Erica Brooks <mailto:president at pmiarkansas.org> ,
the Central Arkansas Chapter President, by October 31, 2007.
