Impact of Digital Transformation on Project Management
Speaker: Nelia Mazula, PMP is an award-winning innovator, President-Elect Society of Women Engineers – Houston area, and digital transformation strategist. Nelia has extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, and she has held multiple roles such as processing engineer and commissioning engineer.
She has a passion for innovation and is currently helping large companies through the process of digital transformation changing the digital bones of industries like oil and gas. She holds six patents and 18 publications. Her work and patents are related to augmented reality, artificial intelligence, comprehensive digital and automation strategies, product lifecycle management, automated construction processes, improved vendor collaboration, and turnkey digital plant solutions.
She is also working on a humanitarian project in the Houston community inspiring young girls to chase their dreams. Mazula is a member of several boards including the Houston Community College, where she promotes innovative learning.
She has a degree in chemical engineering from Arizona State University and an MBA in international business from INSEAD.
